Warm spices and dates in rice pudding, so quick: Just add milk and stick it in the oven for an hour. It's a no brainer!
You need: 100ml milk per portion
Method: Tip the contents of the pack into an oven dish, stir in the milk, cover and bake for an hour at 200C. If you don't have a lid it's fine, a skin will form which you can remove later. We have kept the sugar to a minimum to keep it healthy - add more if you like it sweet. If you reheat leftovers you may need to add a little milk (or cream if you are feeling indulgent) to make is soft again.
Pimp it up:
- make it healthy: add fruit either before or after baking, use low fat milk
- add some chocolate and/or cream (naughty but nice)
- top with sugar after it's baked and put under the grill for 10 minutes
