Super quick dhal recipe kit! Traditionally this dish takes hours to make because you have to cook and then blend the lentils. Just like we did for the falafel, we have taken the faff out of it so now lack of time won’t get in the way of you and deliciousness!
You need: 1 tsp oil, 75g tomatoes, water to taste per person
Fry the contents of the quick dhal recipe kit in oil to release flavours, add tomatoes and cook for another 30 seconds then add the water and bring to the boil. After 10 minutes turn the heat down and simmer until the lentils are soft. Serve with rice or as an accompaniment to curry and naan.
Pimp it up:
– garnish with a sprinkling of fresh coriander leaves
– add final chopped veg of your choice
– add a fresh green chilli
